Four Tops lead singer Levi Stubbs (far left with Renaldo "Obie" Benson, Abdul "Duke" Fakir) passed away today at the age of 72. Although I grew up with the sounds of the Four Tops ringing through the house, my children are familiar his voice since he was Audrey II, the giant man-eating plant, in the movie version of Little Shop of Horrors. His voice, his presence and his genius will be greatly missed!
